Saiful Alam is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from KUET (erstwhile Khulna Engineering college), passed in 1980. He has possessed over 41 years’ professional experience.
During his long professional journey, he has served Government (BPDB) & private power sector with the responsibility of ,
EPC,O&M, Transmission & Distribution lines(Project) & sub-station (Project) of Combined cycle, Turbine based power plant, Engine based power plant, Gas based power plants.
In CPHL he has appointed as Project planning and development of 600MW combined cycle power plant on 2020.
He has appointed as CPHL CTO on 2019.
He has joined in CPHL as COO of CPBL, CPBL2 and ZPCL in 2017 to 2019 and successfully completed these three co-generation project design & implementation.
Prior joining to CPHL he has served as,
ED in United power.
Director technical in Baraka power.
CEO in Doreen power.
ED in summit power.
Worked as Manager (Power station design) in Toshiba from 2000-2003 & stationed in India, Malaysia & Dubai.
Worked as PD, KPCL from1998 to 2000(Which was the first IPP project of Bangladesh)
He started his career in BPDB on 1980 and left as Superintended Engineer on 2003 during his tenure in BPDB he has worked in Gas, Steam & combined cycle power plants operation, maintenance & design in BD as well as trained from USA, UK, GERMANY, FRANCE, JAPAN, THAILAND & INDIA in short and long term training.
He is lifetime member of IEB.
